****Giveaway now closed****It's finally here...Wynne's Picnic Set, where Wynne finally gets her first set of clothes and accessories! I'm celebrating today by giving YOU a chance to win a pattern bundle, and an even bigger grand prize...scroll to the end for details!I'm slowly designing my way into a magical world that will be all about Wynne and her friends...It's been whirlwind few weeks, getting the finishing touches done on the my next pattern! I have to say that pattern writing is such a learning curve, and I don't feel like it will ever be easy. Think 20th century mum in a 21st century world...ahhh technology! I love it when it works, and when it doesn't, it's never my fault!!
But it's all worth it when I see pictures like these...what's not love about these two bunnies? They're off on a ramble in the meadow, filling up their basket with goodies, and looking for the perfect place for a picnic.
Wynne's Picnic Set is actually three patterns in one, and is a combination of sewing and crochet. It contains the pattern for the dungarees, the picnic rug and the miniature basket. It also includes her headscarf and tiny pocket hanky. The pattern is full of plenty of photos, clear instructions and tips, and has digitally drawn pattern pieces. My aim is to make creating this just as much fun as playing with it!
This basket looks for all the world exactly like a full sized wicker basket, just in perfect miniature! It's quick and easy to make, and for all children out there who just love miniatures too, would be perfectly delightful!
I put out a call on Instagram asking for pattern testers, and was delighted that so many people were willing to volunteer their time and effort to help me out! This is Michele's sunny Wynne, complete with little garden tools to accessorise...completely adorable!
These are Lindsay's creations, and I couldn't believe how quickly she made them all!! She is a true powerhouse and I'm so grateful! Her little button bow on the basket is the perfect touch...
These are made by the lovely Roseanne, and she's filled her basket with tiny fruit! Very sweet work! It's just lovely to see how everyone puts their own imagination into their projects, and creates something truly unique.
And another adorable basket by my friend Natalie in England! I love that Wynne's are being made all over the world, and that everyday that I woke up, new creations had been made while I was asleep! So exciting!
