When I was shopping at Cristy's lovely shop the other day, I came across her Holly Hobbie line of fabric, and immediately I was 5 years old again, carrying my Holly Hobbie bag to school. It was amazing what seeing that sweet blue bonnet did to me...O how I loved that bag!
I remember very clearly taking my brother's toy sword to school in it, sticking out at a ridiculous angle...as to why I did that, I do not remember.And so from those happy memories, comes the Holly Hobbie Tote, a whimsical carry all, perfect for small library books, stationery, ready to become a fond part of your daughter's childhood.
It's quilted with a diamond pattern, and is paired with beige linen, one of my favourite combinations...I'll never tire of linen and the endless ways of pairing it with other fabrics. The lining is blue and white gingham, another favourite classic, and finished off with a wooden button to hold the top shut.
