In Part 1 of this Mini Stitch Applique series, I'll demonstrate one of the faux needle turn techniques you can use to make this cute mug rug. In this video we choose our fabric, prep our shapes, and practice smooth curves and pointy points. This technique gets you to do the hard work right at the beginning of the project, so you can just relax on the couch and sew the rest down. Doesn't that sound perfect??
