I received my little pile of Paperie fabrics the other day, the first, and absolutely stunning collection from Amy Sinibaldi.I just started with a few prints, even though I would have loved to get the whole collection...and because of my love of blue, I already had a lot of coordinates in my stash. I found the perfect mints and greys, and don't they go well together?

AND, my other big news, I received my own iPad the other day...I know, I know, about 6 years after everyone else. But I'm feeling at least a little bit caught up with the world! And now of course, there is the trouble of keeping it just for me...I mean is that really too much to ask?? Well yes, it seems it is, and I will share, but only a little bit.To make things a bit less appealing to my kidlets, I made a really pretty, feminine cover for it. This one comes with special messages for the progeny, you know, to remind them of my care and concern, and so they can hear me in their heads while they use it!To be specific, I'm talking about sticky fingers on digital devices...doesn't it make you cringe?? It's one of my pet hates, so with this iPad cover, I decided to take action! No more sticky goo!

So I added a little pocket so at least when it was my turn again, I could do something about it...

Yep! Spot those...cleaning wipes, to remove all traces...

And the other loving message, a little reminder that it's (er oops, I mean they're) very special to me!

The lining is a Riley Blake print that goes so well with it all...and a cute metallic button that I salvaged from some clothing.

This is not as sturdy as it really needs to be, and I am trying to get my hands on some flex foam at the moment, something that seems very illusive in Australia! So there may be a take two for this, especially as this one will go in the wash regularly.

Wish me well in keeping my iPad unsticky!
