I'm so excited to announce that my first quilt pattern is now live in my etsy shop!I've worked really hard to bring you a high quality, and beautiful pattern that you will really enjoy.
If you missed my post on how this was made, here's a quick recap...The old bubble quilt of the 80s has had a makeover! I've mixed up the traditional quilt block with 3D aspect of a bubble quilt. The bubbles are tied to give a tufted effect, hence the name, Little Miss Tuffet.
Combine these tuffets with a simple pinwheel, and this quilt is the essence of chic and squishy goodness! Those tuffets are just perfect for snuggling up on extra chilly nights and though it looks very different to your average flat quilt, the extra dimension of the tuffets are very simple to make, and I will be making some instructional videos very soon to demonstrate.
This would be super cute for a nursery, and fun for babies play mats as they learn and discover the world around them. It finishes at 56" square, making it an ample sized lap quilt.
I've used Moda's First Romance fabric for my quilt, in a rainbow design. But just think of the possibilities...this would look amazing in a modern bold collection, or in solids or in...as you can see I'm getting carried away!
